Level 1: Improv Fundamentals (Starts Wednesday, July 9th)

Adult Class. 6 Sessions, 2 Hours per session. Perfect for beginners or anyone with 2 years or less of improv experience.

In this class you will use scene work and group exercises to explore the joy of improvisation, be more confident, trusting and graceful on stage. Learn  “Yes, and…!” until you have to say “No, thank you”. Focus on positive choices to initiate scenes, real-life and character monologues grounded in truth. 
  
  • Our 6 sessions will teach you the power of saying “yes,” turning your connections with your fellow classmates into improvised magic. 
  • The focus will be on having fun and learning how to start an improv scene.
  • You'll have the opportunity to put the techniques you've learned in class up on stage during the class show - in front of invited friends and family. 
  • Free tickets to Front Porch Improv shows so that you can see the techniques you've been working on in class demonstrated on stage.
